Visions Conference 2008

The Safety Institute of Australia (Queensland/Northern Territory Division) is very proud to announce the 16th annual Occupational Health and Safety Conference to be held at the Cairns International Hotel between 12 and 14 November 2008. A Welcome Function for delegates precedes this on Tuesday 11 November.

In addition to presenting and exploring a range of health and safety issues, the programme will focus on achieving the national OH&S priorities outlined by the Australian Safety and Compensation Council (ASCC).

This year, the programme has been specifically designed to provide a variety of experiences for delegates. In particular, we aim to provide a stimulating mix of key note speakers; presentations from industry and interactive workshops.

We also recognise the importance of meeting and networking with other health and safety professionals during this time, as such a night time Welcome Function on Tuesday 11 November as well as a Gala Dinner on Wednesday 12 November have been scheduled as part of the Conference.
