Audits: What are there value at law
Audits are a very common method for business to assess how safe their business is and what they can do to improve safety. From a legal perspective, audits might be used to try and establish compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act, the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act or under other safety related legislation. The value of the audit depends upon what is audited, how the audit is conducted and what is contained in the final audit report. In this paper, Alan will discuss the different types of audits from a theoretical and practical perspective, providing the audience with useful tools for future use.
