Biography

Trajce Cvetkovski is a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Health and Safety Management, and Discipline Leader at the Peter Faber Business School, Faculty of Law and Business. He has practised as a lawyer since 1996 and was an OHS/WHS prosecutor, and Principal Legal Officer for Queensland’s Office of Industrial Relations for 13 years. He also taught law, policy, and governance at The University of Queensland (2002-18).

Trajce specialises in OHSE compliance and work health and safety regulation and has prosecuted several complex health and safety matters including heat exhaustion, bullying, electrical safety, and reckless conduct. His research interests currently include sentencing inconsistencies under harmonised legislation, the representation of OHS in realty TV renovation shows, and costs associated with achieving OHS regulation and compliance. He contributes to the Ethics and Professional Practice chapter in the Core Body of Knowledge for the Generalist OHS Professional, and is an A-Class member of the Bar Association Queensland.
