Linda Ray is the founder and Chief Product Officer of Neurocapability. Since 2007 she has been exploring how neuroscience – the inner working of the brain and nervous system – affects worker performance. When workers feel heard and respected by their supervisor and co-workers their brains function better and their workplace contributions increase. To help foster better workplaces and higher workplace productivity Linda developed the world’s only accredited curriculum in the neuroscience of leadership. She has also been consulting to leaders of organisations who wish to improve their organisations performance.
In 2018 she developed the world’s first organisational survey tool that measures psychological safety. Her interest in psychological safety as a fundamental component of well-being and workforce productivity has continued to grow, particularly since its importance to workplace performance has been highlighted by Google and Gallup and increasing attention by regulators holding organisations and their management to account for psychological health. Linda has been a regular speaker at events and conferences in Australia championing the need for employers to pay attention to how their workplaces can be transformed by:
- improving leadership capability,
- rethinking outdated workplace practices and;
- making psychological safety of workers a critical business imperative.
