Biography
Sam Popple is the Director of the Psychological Health Unit at Workplace Health and Safety Queensland. A registered psychologist and registered nurse.
Sam commenced with WHSQ in 2019 following research into the regulation of psychosocial hazards, in particular how psychosocial hazards are prioritised and managed compared to other hazards. The Psychological Health implement employer strategies to reduce the risk of work-related injuries associated with psychosocial hazards, including work-related stress, bullying, violence and aggression, and fatigue.
